For the image above, I wanted to create a high contrast between the umbrella frame with the sky to make the raindrops on the umbrella's plastic more visable. To do this, I simply changed the contrast before adjustingthe saturation to make the sand a darker brown. With the original image already being relatively successful and focused, I was happy with the outcome of just a small amount of editing and felt this would reflect the negative side of the beach - it being rainy - for the overall reflection of Weston as a whole well.
For the image below, I was intrigued by how the colours in my hair could represent a beah image. With blonde sand type colours then a gradual change to more green and brown colours, I felt this represented the colours of a bbeach but more vibrantly. I really like the outcome of this photo after adjustin gthe brightness, contrast and vibrance. However, I dislike that because of the lighting I did not fix the highlight when it blew out and now have an overexposed patch in the left-middle of the photo.

The image above is my favourite photo from the Life's a Beach title and also took the least editing. I spent a lot of time taking around 30 photos (now deleted) trying to focus the camera on the sand rather than the rain. Once figuring out how to use manual focus rather than auto focus, this became instantly easier. Again, I feel the rain was most relevant in the sense that it distracts from the pier in the background to show that the attractions aren't relevant to residents.
